Danish Space Challenge
Since its creation in 1999, Danish Space Challenge has been bringing together enthusiasts to further the general public’s knowledge of rocket science and its related technologies. Periodically, members of this non-profit organization convene to test the rockets, which they have built, and these events bring together rocket-science supporters from all across Denmark. At Weibel Scientific, we enjoy sharing in the excitement and monitoring the launches with our radars.
In addition to building and testing rockets, Danish Space Challenge is committed to reaching future engineers and scientists, with over 30 annual student lectures, regular children’s courses in building and firing rockets, and a major role in the Danish Natural Science Festival. Weibel Scientific is happy to be part of the endeavor to share the appreciation of science and technology with coming generations. |
