Erik Tingleff Larsen - Chairman, Founder, and Owner

Erik Tingleff Larsen established Weibel Scientific in 1977, initiating the exploration into radar technology. A visionary, Larsen was among the first to see the possibilities in digital signal processing, while his pioneering work in optical detectors created the foundation for Weibel radars. Chairman of the board and sole shareholder, Larsen also remains involved in radar testing.

Larsen has a M.S. in physics from the Technical University of Denmark and a MBA from Copenhagen Business School. As such, he carries technology in one pocket and economy in the other. Larsen has two children - the lawyer Tina Munkholm Larsen and the economist Thomas Munkholm Larsen, who together will some day write the future chapters of the Weibel Scientific story.
