Detect, track and classify even the smallest drones
Using CW-FMCW X-Band AESA technology, our XENTA families of drone detection radars accurately detect, track and classify both high-speed objects as well as low, slow and small (LSS) targets, such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) over long distances.
The radar follows even the smallest individual drones flying in close formations and in high-clutter environments. This means accurate data can be obtained even in the presence of birds, sand, rain and similar clutter.
Real-time situational awareness and decision-making
Weibel’s counter-drone surveillance radar provides situational awareness data from unmanned aerial systems, empowering military operators in their tactical processing and decision-making.
The radar provides all necessary real-time parameters, including bearing, range, altitude, 3D position, velocity data and tracking, to any common command and control (C2) system –at a high data rate and with minimal latency through the ASTERIX digital data interface.
The drone detection radars are available with different transmitter output power, depending on your specific range requirements. They detect micro UAVs at ranges of up to ten kilometers and provide 360 degree azimuth and 60 degree elevation coverage.
Combining frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) and CW digital-array beam forms with advanced dynamic clutter mapping and moving target detector (MTD) processing, our military surveillance radars provide 3D detection, tracking and classification with minimal false track reports.
